Ghormu Village and school were entirely decimated in the 2015 earthquakes.
Pre-earthquakes there were 150 children attending Ghormu school, and now just over 100 have returned as they struggle in a makeshift school with tin walled rooms, dirt floors and very sparse resources.
Patrick & Laura Hessel are determined to provide a new school for Ghormu and encourage all the children to return to school.
They visited the remote HHCP Nepal villages, then trekked many miles and negotiated two landslides to visit the proposed site of Ghormu Village school. Building will commence as soon as monsoon abates and the roads re-open to get vital supplies through.
